ALLISON ALVAREZ HEDRICK

Allison's Bio

Allison Alvarez Hedrick has served as the Marketing Manager for Enrichment Federal Credit Union (EFCU) in Oak Ridge, Tennessee since 2023. Allison developed and launched a strategic brand refresh for the credit union. Most recently, two of Allison's marketing campaigns have resulted in approximately $40M in new business and hold the top two generating campaigns in the 75-year history of the credit union.
Allison has expanded multiple programs for the credit union that resulted in significant growth of volunteerism and community partnerships for EFCU's Community Enrichment Program, increased scholarship applications by approximately 400%, and increased website traffic by more than 300%.

Before her work with EFCU, Allison served as the Executive Director of Outreach Free Clinic and Resource Center, a free clinic that provided primary medical care to low-income, uninsured patients. Allison took over the clinic during the height of the Coronavirus Pandemic and worked to ensure the clinic continued to serve the community through the unprecedented times. Allison was responsible for every aspect of operations for the clinic, from growing revenue sources, facility care, marketing, personnel and volunteer management, activism, strategic planning, and serving as the spokesperson for the non-profit. While serving as Executive Director, Allison was responsible for the growth of the volunteer program, launched a new fundraiser that generated $40K in net revenue in its first year, launched a free commissary for those in need, expanded community partnerships, and negotiated with Hillsborough County resulting in $11K in savings on the clinic's facility rental.
Before her service at the clinic, Allison joined WEDU PBS in 2009 for the Marketing and Community Partnerships team. In 2011, Allison was promoted to Vice President of Corporate Communications and Events to direct WEDU’s brand management and public relations efforts as well as the station's community outreach, friend-raising and fundraising events. Allison also played a significant role in the lobbying efforts to secure state funding for the West Central Florida nonprofit's education programs.
Allison's contributions to WEDU included expanding the WEDU Be More Awards from hosting 260 annual guests to 600 guests, creating new partnerships leading to the launch of WEDU's podcast services, and creating the WEDU Block Party event that hosted 3,000 guests in its inaugural year. Allison was also responsible for booking the Antiques Roadshow production taping in Sarasota, Florida, and multiple America's Test Kitchen events throughout West Central Florida.
During her service at WEDU, Allison also led projects aimed at community service for voter registration drives and awareness outreach programs around human trafficking, homeless youth, women in leadership, media roundtables, and community walkability projects.
